Lucas Classroom at the Hawaiian Humane Society Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
As Oʻahu continues to recover from the recent Kona low storm, Hawaiian Humane is asking the community to step up through “The 100 Foster Challenge.” We are hosting a series of free, in-person foster orientations to help get dogs from our holding areas into temporary homes as quickly as possible.
Join our Foster Care team for the first of six free, in-person 100 Foster orientation sessions on:
Date: Thursday, April 2, 2026
Time: 5 pm – 6 pm
Location: Hawaiian Humane Society Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili – Lucas Classroom
91-1945 Fort Weaver Rd.
ʻEwa Beach, HI 96706
Dogs fostered through this challenge are either currently available or on a move-to-adoption track – meaning they are ready to move forward but need a temporary home while space opens up on our adoptions floors. Fostering these dogs directly creates that space. This is different from our Couch Crashers program, which places dogs already on the adoption floor in foster homes.
No prior fostering experience is required and Hawaiian Humane will provide all the supplies, veterinary care and support you’ll need throughout the foster period.
Please sign up for an orientation slot and complete the foster application before attending.
